Lois was asked to witness at the Houses of Parliament as part of the 4th session looking at the topic of ‘culture to build resilience to radicalisation in Middle East and North Africa’. Experts and organisations working in the areas of Arts and Culture were invited to comment on the role of artists in the fight against radicalisation, and the role of Arts and Culture in the political sphere of this question. Expert witnesses also explored the role art and culture can play in strengthening civil society and building individual and community resistance.
